Scoreboards – Coming soon!

Pennywise Peripherals have been quietly designing and building scoreboards for various sports including athletics and hockey.

After researching available scoreboards for a local sporting club, Pennywise identified that many of the available products had very few features with little integration and minimal support. Scoreboard manufacturers that did have good features also had impressively high price tags!

Seeing this as a challenge, Pennywise designed and built scoreboards that had the following features:

1. Clear poly-segment digits.
2. Battery powered for events held at remote locations. E.g. cross-country running or at athletics tracks that have no power to the infield.
3. Remote control via long-range radio remote unit.
4. Control using an Android app and connection via Bluetooth (in development)
5. Start/stop/reset of timer connected to leading photo-finish systems.
6. Cost effective for budget conscious sporting clubs.
